The World March for Peace and Nonviolence will begin in the United States, as elsewhere, on October 2nd, with the development of public celebrations in several cities. Over the following three months, various events and initiatives will take place throughout the country (see Initiatives) in support of the March.
On November 30, the international team of marchers is scheduled to arrive in New York City. The team will divide into three teams that will travel to Washington DC, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, respectively, and on December 2 there will be meetings, marches, and special events in those cities as well as in all 50 States as part of a “National World March Day.”
